In my darkness, You are the light

Even in the midst of the darkest storm I see you there beside me,

And in the darkest night you're still helping me to see,

When I'm locked in the dungeon of my mind its you who sets me free,

And when I ride into battle you always go before and behind me,

No matter the course or the obstacle you always vanquish my enemy,

So even in the deepest darkest valley I'll still raise a cry of glee.

Guiding my way through the darkest night.

Even when I feel like I can't go on,

When all in my world just seems so wrong,

You are my evening song,

And in my weakness you are strong,

So in you I wave all my cares so long,

For in your light the darkness is gone.
