Lessons learned !

Looking back over the highway of my life,

Over all the twists and turns,

All the highs and all the lows,

If I could go back would I do it differently, who knows,

Its only through experience that one ever learns,

And its only through lessons learned that one ever grows.

There's things I regret but without them I wouldn't be who I am today,

There's things I've missed but with them I'd live a different way.

So in the end, am I happy with my life, yes I am,

And I'm not just saying that to make me feel better,

And yes of course there's things I wish I'd done better,

But I can't go back so I just have to make the future better.

I can't afford to get bitter so instead I'll spend my life making it better,

That's why you won't find me being a regretter but always a go getter.
