Loneliness in The Midst of Many !

Surrounded by multitudes and yet suffering from feelings of loneliness and isolation,

Engulfed in a sea of love and yet feeling parched and thirsty for attention,

Why in this wholeness must I feel feelings of such desolation,

And despite having hope I despair of my situation,

Even in the midst of this joy I suffer from depression,

And even though God draws me near I feel separate from the rest of his creation,

But at the end of the day I must realize that all these fears and doubts are in my imagination.
