No Matter What

Here we go, it's happened again,

Pain knocking on your front door with more bad news,

And now that salt water is filling your front room,

As your tear drops form an ocean,

And you carry yet another burden you can't bear,

A weight this heavy can only pull you down,

So now you feel as if you're going to drown,

Gasping for breath as you cry,

Asking him why oh why,

But shh be still, can't you hear his reply,

He whispers in your ear,

Love, peace and joy just for you,

He knows exactly what you're going through,

And when you can't go on he'll carry you,

And even when you feel you're the one to blame,

He loves you now and he loves you then all the same,

He died that you may know no shame,

He will carry you through,

And when you come through you'll be stronger than before,

So trust in Him no matter what,

For it might be hard and it might hurt,

But you'll see a brighter day,

And when the pain goes away,

You'll know his love is true.
