Run for the hills !

She says she doesn't want to run for the hills,

But that's for today,

What if I say something that scares her away,

Something I do each and every day,

I just pray if I do she'll stay anyway,

And whilst this might sound crazy,

Because I hardly even know you,

Well that's just me being me,

I say what I feel is true,

And whilst I know I can't play all my cards on you,

And I can't put my eggs all in one basket,

And I know I shouldn't risk it,

But I have a feeling that you're worth it,

So if I get the chance I'm going to take it,

And whilst I know this is risky,

And whatever will be will be,

The sun before me is all I can see,

So if you want to fly, little bird fly free,

But won't you stay and take this chance with me,

Together we can see what this friendship could be,

Together we can see what we can do,

When two voices ring true,

And one plus one makes two,

Friendship or more, I want to find out with you.
