Trust in You!

When I'm feeling low,

Hurting and beaten down,

Left broken on the ground,

As I cling to you I let go,

Falling backwards, I fall into you,

This is an exercise of trust,

Clinging to all that's true,

I believe in what I must,

For if not for you what would I do,

Who would I be and where would I go,

In the sunshine you are all that's bright,

And in the darkness you are all that is right,

You are God of the day and God of the night,

You alone remain the same,

In the midst of my joy or in the deepest of shame,

Jesus yours alone is the name,

The name I cling to, the name I trust in, the name that saves,

In your name the dead rise from their graves,

In your name the sick are healed and the lame walk,

In your name I am lifted high above the waves,

So in the joy or in the pain,

I will listen for your voice always,

And I will trust in your higher ways,

When I have it all or when your love is all that is left to remain,

I will trust in you and listen as you talk,

For I know you alone to be true,

Jesus, that's why I will only trust in you.
