Underdog Story; Part 1!

I once was blind but now I see,

I once was lost but now I'm found,

And as I look around me,

A million colours surround me,

A million colours of a million dreams of all our world could be,

But as I take each step, foot to ground,

A skyscraper blocks my path,

But where once I'd panic at the school disco,

I read Romans 116 and it taught me to man up,

So I start to climb, higher and higher I climb up,

Every step I take I change The Script,

People used to say I'd never make it past the ground,

Now I hear them thunder like I'm a superhero,

But if it weren't for the one who found me,

Instead my fears would have ground me,

Whilst a million voices of a million haters would hound me,

But now as Lauren said the only voice that matters is yours,

My maker, creator, my one true saviour,

And some may say I'm delirious, We can't take this man serious,

Talking about this superhero, this Godman,

But anything I can do it's only because you can,

And they said the same about you,

They even tried to blot you out of history,

But history is yours and I'm just one more chapter in your story,

So whilst mine might be the true Underdog story,

Yours is the highest and supreme truth,

So whilst they raise the roof,

Lord, I'll be mirroring it back to you.
